Girona, Cádiz & Málaga – Spain’s new
investment hotspots?
Latest price data from one of Spain’s leading
property portals shows significant price
increases in several of the country’s smaller
cities. According to Idealista, Girona, Cádiz and
Málaga registered some of the biggest rises of
20.3%, 10.7% and 8.3% respectively in the year
to the end of June 2019. Other cities such as
San Sebastian and Granada also saw above
average hikes of 8.2% and 7.2% respectively.
Average prices across Spain rose by 6% in the
last 12 months. n
Nerja Caves Festival
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Nerja
International Music and Dance Festival. Events took
place inside the caves and the outside surrounding gardens with special concerts from the likes of
Spanish singer-songwriter Ana Belén and famous fiddler Ara Malikian. That’s two reasons to visit this
fantastic famous local attraction, one of Spain’s major ‘natural’ tourist attractions. The Nerja caves
are located 158 meters above sea level and are, with 4,823 meters, one of the most developed
topographic caves in Andalusia discovery. Since opening in 1960 hundreds of thousands visit the
caves and are stunned by its natural beauty. On Sunday mornings throughout the year, entry to the
